Govinda's is one of the most beautiful spots at Karuna — set near the waterfall, open to the valley. Fresh food is prepared every day, and more and more of what's cooked comes from our own organic plots. We keep the menu exciting and the portions satisfying.
If you're lucky, a passing guest happens to be a chef — and we all get a treat of some exotic cooking.
How ordering works
Because everything is prepared fresh, we ask guests to order in advance:
- Order breakfast the night before, at dinner.
- Order lunch at breakfast.
- Order snacks and dinner at lunch.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all available — on order.
More than a café
Govinda's is the community space — a place to meet other guests, listen to music, play carrom or chess, borrow a book from the little library. We also keep a small shop with basic snacks and a few eco essentials like natural soap.
