Our work to date
Since Karuna Farm began, the main activity has been planting fruit and indigenous shola trees. 80% of the land — nearly 15 acres — is now covered in forest.
- Eight houses built for permanent members and their families, including Earthship Karuna by Biotect Alex Leeor.
- Ten guest cottages accommodating up to 25 people.
- A yoga hall built with a unique cob-and-earth technique, seating 25.
- Hundreds of students trained in Earthship building, cob construction, and other earthen architecture.
- Yoga retreats and organic farming workshops.
- A one-acre solar-fenced vegetable garden.
- A cowshed with fenced grazing for breeding indigenous cows.
- Community space with full kitchen, dining, games, Wi-Fi, and music.
