Tree Plantation — Karuna Dham

A tree is a symbol of tolerance. It takes the rain, the storms, the heat, and the cold. It gets cut down and abused — and still it continues to provide shelter for animals, shade for undergrowth, oxygen, fruit, and flowers for everyone and everything.

Planting more trees is the best service you can do for future generations. Sponsor the planting of a tree from only ₹325 and receive a personalised certificate — a quiet and sustainable gift for a friend or family member.

An update from the land

Last season we slashed all the grass and bushes that were smothering the young plants we put in over the past two years. Near the dormitory we uncovered several lime trees in fruit, hidden under the scrub. We're gradually opening up the whole area so the earlier plantings can get the light and air they need.

The rains have started. We're aiming to plant another 500 trees — ideally before the end of June, so they get good rains through December. This is where your support makes a direct difference.
